Päätinpä aloittaa tämmöisen Irlantiversio-blogin, kun niin monet muutkin matkaajat luokaltani ovat tällaisen luoneet niin pitäähän sitä minunkin.. :)
Eli 7.tammikuuta tieni vie Helsingistä Dubliniin ja sieltä kenties junalla tai bussilla Athlone nimiseen kaupunkiin aikas keskelle Irlantia.
Siellä Erasmus vaihtojakso alkaa ja kestää semmoiset 5 kuukautta Athlone Institute of Technology nimisessä koulussa. Täältä talven keskeltä kun lähden niin palaan kesän lämpöön. Ihan hyvältä kuulostaa. (Tosin olen ymmärtänyt että Irlannissa kylmää ja kolotusta löytynee ympärivuoden, talojen lämmitykset kun eivät ole Suomen luokkaa..)
Tulen asumaan siellä isäntäperheessä, joten varmasti kivoja tarinoita on minulla teille jakaa.. ja varmasti jotain tulee myös opiskeluta siellä paikan päällä.. muutakin kuin vain paikallista kulttuuria.
nyt väistyn takavasemmalle pohtimaan mitä teen Suomen asunnon kanssa.

I decided to start this Irish-blog, since so many other travellers from my class have created one of these, so I must do it too :)
So 7th of January my journey will start from Helsinki to Dublin and from Dublin to a city called Athlone, which is pretty much in the middle of Ireland.
I am doing Erasmus exhange and it will last about 5 months at Athlone Institute of Technology AIT. From the middle of the winter I will leave and then I will come back when it's summer. Sounds good to me. (Although I have understood that in Ireland it's cold all year around, the heatings in the houses aren't the same than in Finland.)
I will be living with a hostfamily, so i am pretty sure I will have fun stories to share and maybe something about the studies too, rather than just the local culture.
Now I will head to ponder what I will do with my apartment in Finland.
